Equinor – Atlas Data Platform
The Atlas Data Platform is a huge data platform project in Norway based on Azure cloud environment with dedicated data center and full access to Microsoft resources in Redmond. The main goal was to build a data platform that will serve both the traditional BI operations, such as reporting and self-service BI, as well as stream to data lakes with the same data maturity level. Our team has had access to tools and technology that have helped us shape the project together with Microsoft as our partner. This project was developed in Confidential Research (Forskning) where our consultants had hands-on experience with Microsoft Synapse which is not in the market yet.
