Project Scope:
I led the development of an Enterprise Data Warehouse solution using a Data Vault data model. This project aimed to integrate data from nearly 20 diverse systems, both internal and external, enabling seamless interaction and generating meaningful insights for The ViT’s clients.
My Role:
As Tech Lead, Architect, and Developer, I was actively involved in:
- Designing and implementing the data architecture.
- Extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources, such as Visma Business, Power Office, Tripletex, CatalystOne, and VolvoTruckAPI.
- Ensuring compatibility and synchronization between systems.
- Preparing the data infrastructure for migration from a local SQL Server to Azure Data Warehouse.
Tools & Technologies:
- Database & Data Tools: MS SQL, T-SQL, Microsoft MDM, Data Modelling with UML, ERWIN, SSIS, SSAS.
- Programming & Integration: Python, API development.
- Visualization: Power BI, Tableau, DAX.
